~ All Hallow's Eve~

 The wind is cool and crisp(finally) and mostly comes from the north now...
The tropics have simmered down (thankfully) and it is beginning to look like
late Fall when the leaves have lost their coloring and are as crisp as the breeze!
 The mantel and pewter cupboard have been decked in their finest displays of
black and orange and have been a joy to behold as the days of Autumn tick away...
 EeeBee feels the change in the air as she and the other cats take
running fits all around the house ...and follow me when I mysteriously walk around
with a camera in my hand!
 The flower beds are waning  and starting to show their age...
as the days are noticeably shorter.
 My favorite witch that I have had for years is starting to see the end of her flight.
Soon to be put back in the shed for another winter's nap...
However,  I still see the wonders of Halloween right around the corner...The kids are grown so we don't
trick-or-treat anymore but we still wait anxiously for The Great Pumpkin to appear...After
all, Halloween ,like Christmas, is in our hearts and we never grow old as long as we
let our imagination soar!!

~ Have a Ghoulish Day! ~
