~ The Hunter ~

Hello Mister Hawk... It's becoming more common now to look out the window and see a hawk lurking around... Sometimes we don't even need to actually see him. When the birds and squirrels freeze in one place for awhile...we know he is in a tree somewhere...watching for a muscle to twitch so he can strike. Even though we love the birds, it's always a thrill to see something as majestic (and lethal) as a hawk swoop down for a visit. I have always thought that we were the McDonalds of the bird world!!

Take Care,
Tina

Just this afternoon there was a hawk in our big front tree "snacking" on an unfortunate Grackle. The wonder and brutality of Nature!
