~ Camouflage ~

I was trying to find my precious little kitty the other day...I finally found her secret hiding place... Now I know where to look when she's had enough hugs and sugars and tries to escape my clutches!

***

I am just getting ready to sit down tomorrow and start cutting out Santas!! Never mind it has been something that I have said I would do every day this week!!...I had to have the Orkin man come today and do a heavy duty flea spray over the entire house...so that I can go safely to the attic to sew!!
***

We have three indoor cats that never go outside...yet, every year we are bombarded with fleas and they get out of control before Orkin can get here...This is a very buggy state, I have found out. My mama lives in VA and has indoor and outdoor cats. While there, I didn't see one of them scratch a flea!! ...I come home and mine are scratching in unison, all the time...At least now, my kitties can have a break...and I can go upstairs without being attacked...Orkin is great!!

Take Care,

Tina

What a cute hiding spot...Sweet kitty. Arghh...fleas. Thankfully, I haven't had that issue for many, many, years. Only had to deal with it twice - once when in college, we adopted a kitty from a shelter - and yup, she brought some other houseguests. The other time I was asked to house sit someone's Yorkie - he, too, came with some uninvited guests - and man, I still itch thinking about it!! Good luck! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

The fleas here in Georgia are terrible too. My dogs have to have baths once a week for the fleas.

Hi Tina, What a fun picture! It really made me smile...I love cats and all the little quirky things they do. I also have a cat that stays indoors. The vet told me that the fleas jump up on us and we carry them indoors...and in turn our little kittys sometimes get fleas. I agree with Teresa, I use Revolution once a month on my cat ($13) and this helps protect against those nasty little pests.
Have fun making santas.
