~ Words of Inspiration ~

I am a collector(and sometimes hoarder) of a few things...I have never met a piece of fabric that I didn't like...My mind is always trying to find just the right place to use it or it's filed in the "to do later" pile...Nevertheless, I hold onto it...The same is true with quilt and primitive magazines...I never pass the newsstand at the grocery store without stopping to look for the latest issue...Magazines have always drawn me into their web with their light and fun reading...I gain a small amount of knowledge through their articles but my mind races with imagination when I see the pictures...It's sort of a high...What makes it worse now is the outcropping of new primitive magazines...I have to have them ...and usually return home with a stack to browse through later...Not to mention the thrill of finding an issue in the mailbox!!...Oh, and I get all my recipes from Paula Deen...Of course, a lot of her recipes are dishes that I grew up on...They bring back fond memories and you can't beat that good old southern cooking!...Viva la magazine!!!

Until next time...

Take Care,

Tina

Ahhh...a gal after my own heart ('cept for me, instead of quilting magazines, it's cross stitch or rug hooking, etc.). And I just can't let them go....I see people selling their old copies of APP or Mercantile Gatherings, etc. and I'm aghast! :o) Thanks for fessing up - makes some others of us feel a little more "normal." ;o) Enjoy your day!! Good thing I am not the only one when it comes to keeping magazines. I have a habit of keeping my Victorian ones for a long time! I have been a follower of you for about a month or two and I love your posts, esp. the ones about your quilting.
