...A Cozy Halloween Night...

These are not words I would usually group together in a sentence...However, after a very overcast day and a rainy and cold evening...a fire in the hearth really hit the spot. It occured to me as I was sitting watching the fire today that living in my beloved Colonial Era would find me constantly stoking the fire and hauling in extra firewood to fix supper ....Instead, I got to sit and relax with a cup of coffee and think about all the things I still have to do...All the while, cooking a nice hearty meal in the crockpot...I would love to be transported back in time and I do have daydreams of living in a colonial mansion...but modern day convienences have spoiled me to the core...I don't think I could live without my crockpot or blow dryer!!

Take Care,
Tina

Hi Tina ~~ Beautiful Picture of your fireplace...so cozy. I know I like to think of myself living way back when...but I dont think I could have hacked it. LOL They were pretty hardy stock, and worked way too hard.
