If you would have told me two years ago that I would be a frequent visitor to the beach scene...I would have thought you were crazy! It's so funny how we put ourselves in a box and stay inside our "zones". Since moving here to NC two years ago, I have broke out of nearly every "zone" I had placed myself in...I could credit it to confidence or boredom but I'd like to credit it to age and wisdom... Where I used to fret over what I looked like and who saw me...I now block everyone out and think of myself. It may sound a bit selfish but I like to think of it as wise. My sole purpose is to enjoy myself...beyond that, who cares! Yes people...somewhere along the line...I became Liberated!!! We are all on our own journeys in life and this road is one I'm happy to be on... Oh, the Crystal Coast was beautiful as you can see above!

What a great post! Yep, those days of worryin' are long gone for me too. It is quite liberatin' when we feel good in our own skin. :> )
