If you are trying hand quilting don't worry about getting tiny stitches at first. Just try to keep them uniform. It took me some time to learn to "rock the cradle" and get several stitches on my needle at a time. The hand quilting is my favorite part of making a quilt. I have the Barbara Brackman book.
