~ Greenery and Such ~

We can call Thanksgiving a memory now...Where does the time go? ...They always say "time flies"...I think it actually flies, walks and runs away as fast as it can!!... Anyway, it's time to go with the flow and move on to the next big event...Christmas!! Christmas is such a warm holiday to decorate for...greenery on the mantle and cupboards and a fire in the fireplace...The older I get, the more simple I like to decorate...The tree goes up and the Belsnickles come out and greenery is placed everywhere...and I'm done!!

The tree went up before Thanksgiving this year and everything is in place...I'll be posting pictures of the house on picturetrail again this year...They should be up by mid-week so keep checking...I also have some new Santas that will be on Ebay later this week...and I'm thinking of finally listing on Etsy after all of these years of having an empty account!! I haven't read over all their rules yet and feel a tiny bit unsure...I'll have to get my act together and give it a try!!

... Outside My Window...

While sitting in my office typing away at this computer, I noticed a beautiful cardinal in the tree outside my window... He sat on his perch and posed for me for quite awhile...got tons of pictures...I can't fit them all on here...

Yes, I do have a life but I'm distracted by movement outside...Sometimes I get a little sidetracked... Okay, I'm more curious than my cats!

... Watcher in the Woods ...

We have lived here in NC for four years now and discovered our "friend" watching our house the year we moved in... He's so spooky and the fact that he hasn't changed at all during our years here is is even spookier...Take a look at the tree and see if you can see him...

... What Season Is It? ...

This is always a confusing time of the year for me...I still love my pumpkins and hate to remove them before they mold or start to rot...Besides, they do make Thanksgiving look more colorful ...So they stay out...

Next, my ceramic Tom turkey comes out of hiding for the Thanksgiving season...I painted him years ago and he has become a part of the seasonal decor... He just makes the whole room look more "fall-ish"...So he needs to be out...Everything blends nicely so far...

Here's where it gets tricky...I'm making Santas and snowmen now so they are lying everywhere while I get them ready to start listing...somewhere ... I also like to start pulling some Christmas greenery out for pictures because I'm starting to shift seasons (in my mind)...My decorations are all mixed together now and I have a little fall here and a little winter there and sometimes they mix and become ... "Finter ?" ... " Merry Finter Everybody! "
