..... Hello Weekend! .....

Where have I been? That's a good question... It seems like another week is winding to a close and I'm wondering where it went! I have had a couple deadlines to meet and I am trying to finish up a handful of things to add to my website...throw that in with the two trips to Raleigh each week and it's no wonder I'm so discombobulated!! I hope you are as ready for the weekend as I am..

Tomorrow I plan on starting a couple new dolls and finishing up what I have for the website...It's time to take a shower now and get settled in to watch "Moonlight" on the Sci-fi channel..It's a great rerun of the vampire series that used to run on another network...I love these types of shows...I guess I'm sweet on the outside and dark on the inside!

Here's a picture of my daughters goat "Chunky Chicken". She stays on my parents farm in VA and she is one sassy character...just like my daughter!

..... Off to Sew ...

Saturday mornings always feel great ...there are no time constraints and there's no appointments tomorrow...it's almost like a "cushion" day, sandwiched right between a relaxing night (before) and a relaxing day (after)... It's also the time when my internal fight "to sew or not to sew" rages the loudest...I have this small inspirational time every saturday morning when the stars align and I feel so inspired to create... if I don't act on it...it's gone...happens like clockwork!

Today, I'll act on it...I'm headed up to the attic to my sewing room. I have a deadline coming up for The Primitive Gathering and I truly don't want to mess it up... I want to try to get a few pictures of my cozy (and downright hot-in the summer!) little attic room... I have to straighten it up first...Otherwise, it would be hard to tell there's actually a sewing machine in it!!

.... New Listings and Laments ....

Okay, my credibility is taking a gut punch here... I have listed again on Ebay and I am putting the shout out here to get you to take a look... I realize I blow off steam here on my humble blog quite frequently about Ebay and their many socialist policies... yet I still go back and relist items with them... I am truly addicted to the pocket money that Ebay provides... there...I said it...I do it for the MONEY! ... I feel so ashamed...

Now for the lament...my PBS channel didn't show "Oliver Twist" last night... I took my shower and settled down in front of the tele and to my horror...they ran another show about Rudyard Kipling! I was so disappointed because I have waited two long weeks to see my toy boy crush...aka Tom Hardy!! My PBS will be running their annoying annual moneython starting this weekend...thus goes my chances for seeing this show anytime soon... Boo Hoo !

..... I Told You So ...

I am just quickly writing this blog to thank my buddy Deb once again for her wonderful graphics and her endless patience with me... If you are here regularly, you saw my new graphics that lasted all of two days!! I changed my mind once more and poor Deb was kind enough to answer my plea for help in changing my graphics...again!!

I just want to say that although I have the attention span of a gnat sometimes and the steadiness of a weathervane in a hurricane... I think I like these graphics the best so Deb doesn't have to worry about another frantic email...for a little while at least! Thanks Deb!

..... Busy, Busy, Busy .....

Things have been pretty hectic around here ... I always seem to lose track of time each week... My trips to Raleigh twice a week seem to zap my energy and my motivation... I only have about a month left of training to go. It has been a nice adventure but after seven months, I am ready to see a light at the end of the tunnel... It's nice that we are seeing results in our son and that's the whole purpose for going!!

I will be a part of "The Primitive Gathering" starting March 1st and then the first of the month from there on... I usually don't mention these things early because I don't like to jinx myself but I am very excited to be a member of this great group... Please be watching and keep your fingers crossed...I'd hate to be jinxed!!

I may not be writing again til after the weekend so...I just wanted to mention that Sunday is going to be a great night...That hunk of a man aka Tom Hardy will be on "Masterpiece Theater as a bad guy this time but... who cares!! You know where you can find me Sunday night... I'll be sure to let you know what I think of his performance next week!

..... My Bestest Buddy .....

I just want to thank my best Bud for the wonderful work she has done once again on my website and templates... I am truly blessed to have found such a sweet and precious person out there who has such a big heart... I have never heard her complain once ... even though I have a tendency to change my mind like the wind... I think it's a flighty trait we Libras exhibit often. Deb and I have never met but I feel like I have known her my whole life... I think that says it all!

..... AARRGH!! .....

I just got back from Raleigh tonight and found a message from Ebay saying they had pulled my listing because it had "money order" on it... I forgot to delete that from an old template and they deleted my listing!! This is the second time this has happened to me... they never inform you so you can correct the "issue"...It makes me want to scream... AARRGGHH!!

I'm about ready to scrap ebay after these two listings run out... I have other venues to sell from... I have yet to get my "etsy" shop up and open for business... I gotta cool down!!
