OMG! I just listed a little witch and her familiar on Ebay tonight...It's been awhile since I have listed anything there...She is starting at a very low price so hop on your broom and fly over there to check her out...I'm beginning to get in the Halloween mood...time to put on "Sleepy Hollow"again!

I just listed a few new Goodes on my website this morning... I'm working for that very primitive look now...no more perfection!!! I'm thinking the older and more worn out the better!!

... Playing with Corgi's ....

After spending a large part of last week in isolation...because of my bad case of sun-poisoning, it felt very good to get away and go to the place where there is unconditional love...HOME. We went to see my parents in Virginia over the Memorial Day weekend to relax and spend time with family... I was debating on calling this entry "nostalgia" because I came away from this trip with a bad case of it... When you live away from family, you are the first to see how much they have changed while you were away...I'm beginning to see age creep in on my parents and sisters...I know we all age but I get very teary- eyed when I see my parents going through this process...I remember well when they were my age! Add to this a son who will be graduating from high school next month and you'll see why I'm starting to feel as if only I could turn back the clock...I would be able to slow things down and relive them...I know, I'll get back to reality...

On a happier note, my sister is raising and selling Corgi's now...her dog has had it's first litter of pups and they are so adorable. They have two little puppies running around and they look like little pom-poms with legs...very short legs! I'll be the first to admit, I'm a cat lover to the core but these little things have made me rethink my principles! The pictures are of "Dudley" the papa and his two little offspring...adorable!

...Weekend Air Show...

This past week has been pretty action packed...the school year is winding down and with a sophomore and senior in the house, I have had to be a taxi cab of sorts...we have been saving up to get an extra car but that hasn't happened yet! In the meantime, I have been making sure that everyone makes it to their appointments and that has been very hectic for me the driver!

On Saturday, we went to an air show at the Marine base in Cherry Point, NC. What a blast! I have never been to one of these shows but I have always been fascinated with airplanes. When I'm outside and hear a plane overhead, I always have to spot it and keep a bead on it until it flies out of sight...I also do this for birds but that's another story! The show was great and the pilots were amazing. I already know that I want to go to the one next year!! The downside to all this fun though has turned out to be a bad case of sun poisoning...my face is dark red, swollen and leaking pus...I know, I sincerely hope you aren't eating anything while reading this...I have been taking it easy today in front of the fan and with plenty of water on hand to keep hydrated...I think in another day I should be close to normal...I'm staying out of public for now...on the down -low!!

...Lemonade or Lemon Cheesecake? ...

No matter how cheerful your disposition, there always comes a day(s) when you just feel down in the dumps. I have had a nice weekend but for some reason I can't pinpoint, I have been feeling as low as a snakes belly... The weather has been nice but the humidity has kicked in or maybe it's because of money worries...it always seems to slip through your hands before you know it...or maybe it's just because... It is kinda funny that my horoscope is spot on with my mood this weekend...I don't put much stock in them but it's always interesting to see if they match up with life at the end of the day...

My sweet little baby E.B.(above) has been with me throughout, raising my spirits when I scoop her up and give her sugars...Animals just add that extra comfort for the weary soul...

Tomorrow I will start on my dolls again and I have a few new things in the works for the future.
Life is full of lemons to make lemonade or lemon cheesecake...be creative and add the sugar...that's what makes life sweet...
