New Stuff Everywhere!!!

I'm starting to see that this is the time of year when pondering the little nuances of life has to take a back burner to keeping hands busy and minds free...Free to create more,that is!!

Yes, I have been pretty busy lately trying to finish things and start more...all at the same time!!

I was able to get a lot of things listed so far and hope that things continue to flow...

I am really creating more little round-head dolls than I expected...I am finding, through experiments, that they can be "primitized" just as easily as regular dolls...I still love the colonial/primitive look though...I like a few different styles and sometimes it's hard to stick with a particular style or look...If you follow my work, you probably notice I'm all over the place!!!

If 'Variety is the spice of life'...I'm very spicy!!

Lemon Poppy Seeds Update ~ September

Waa-Haa-Ha!!! Another evil deadline has been met. By the way, that was my evil laugh in the beginning... I didn't think I was going to be able to do it...Two hours ago I was sitting in my chair trying to force myself to get outside and take pictures. It's usually the last step that's always the zinger for me....I work and assemble and tweak and then all that's left is the final step...the one I always drag my feet on...pictures!!! I have never been a camera fanatic. When the kids were young, the camera was always the last thing on my mind. Events would come and go and I would have them emblazoned in my memory. Forgetting the function of a camera and the need to use it...When I did remember to use one...we would have a drawer full of the things...until I finally broke down and developed them!! Website Update!!!

I'm back!!! Wow, I don't think I ever wrote back-to-back entries on my blog before!! Anyway, I did just list a few dolls on my website so I thought I would spread the news...I feel very cheerful because I finally got it done... Get ~ Er~ Done!!!

Today is a Raleigh day so I'll be picking the kids up from school a few minutes early so we can get on the road...I have to get a little work done for the upcoming webshows this month...I'm on my way to stitch a few arms and legs on and relax a little before leaving...
