New Listings Posted!!!

I'm a little slow in getting this notice posted...hopefully, you already know what I'm gonna say!!

I listed a primitive pumpkin witch on Ebay last night...my first listing in awhile...she turned out great!! Then this morning I was able to finally get some new things up on my website and picturetrail...Now it's back to work all over again...

Peaceful Evening...

I'm sitting here at my computer this evening looking out the window. We have a nice backyard but it seriously needs to be cleaned...there's nothing but trees and leaves back there and I'm sure there are just as many snakes lurking around too! It still has it's own natural beauty because it's untouched and free...that redeems it a little!

At dusk and in the early morning, it's a peaceful place to sit and watch. The blue jays and cardinals get a little loud and different birds flit from tree to tree. I guess it's their last burst of energy before they roost at night. Lately the cicadias have been chiming in too. They have such a lazy summery sound to them...All of these noises are so relaxing and they make it hard to focus on anything. It's so easy to get caught up in nature...I'm always straining to see movement in the trees. The deer are so stealth that unless they twitch their ears or take a step, there's no way of seeing them... Between the deer and the sights and sounds, it's very easy for me to get lost in my own backyard...

Updates Coming!

I have had this incredible burst of energy for the past few days... I don't know why but I won't question it !! Dolls are starting to pile up in the living room. I'm still limited in what I can do and will be for the next couple of weeks, but I'm so happy about what I've done so far. Expect major updates on the website and picturetrail in the very near future...If my stamina and energy continues I'll be running around here in a blur!! LOL

We had such a nice day today with low humidity and nice rolling clouds. Some like bright sunny days but I really love the cloudy and overcast ones. They give you a calm and peaceful feeling inside...almost cozy... I spent most of the morning on my back porch cleaning some new chalkware pieces. The birds were chirping and a nice cool breeze was stirring the windchimes, it was great. Oh and "Yard Kitty" was out there too...She's a tabby cat that the former owners took care of here. She's sweet and she rolls and meows when you talk to her but she is a little too wild to let you touch her...we make sure her little tummy is full...Although I have seen her catch a few birds and squirrels...I guess you just can't beat fresh meat... Cats will be Cats!!!

Recovery in Progress

Well, now I can say..."been there, done that". I am in recovery mode right now and getting a little more agile each day! Time to get back to work soon...too many things to do!
Ebay seems excruciatingly slow right now...which is sad. I will be trying to get things listed on my sites ASAP...Please bear with me...I'm moving at a snails pace lately!!

Nervous Nerves...and ALL that Stuff

Just thought I'd write a quick blog tonight. I am so full of nervous energy because tomorrow morning is my surgery...Yesterday and today have been very nerve-wrecking days for me. I have tried to think positive and happy thoughts...I need to keep my blood pressure down...I'll get through this...my family has been so supportive but they don't realize yet what a big baby I will be!! LOL
I hope to be getting some listings up early next week...there's always so many thing to do and so little time!! Please check back soon!!!

What Schedule?

Well, dinner was late and I'm sitting here typing this later than I had planned...these are sure signs of summer's arrival...Things never go according to schedule and frankly, that's no big deal!! I love the easy flow of things and I never take for granted how blessed I am to be able to stay at home with the kids...Each year they grow older and I grow a little more wistful. I wish I could keep them here forever but one day they will leave the nest...I try not to think to hard about it... I am your typical Mother Hen to the extreme! LOL

I am so thrilled with the progress I have been making lately with my doll production...it's a factory around here...I have many places to list them so once I spread them out it won't look that impressive but I'm trying to maintain the productivity. Being a moody person can sometimes slow progress to a crawl like last month for example, I was in some weird kinda mood and just felt like doing nothing. Thankfully, that mood is history...(I'm knocking on wood)!

I will be in The Eclectic Artisans group tomorrow...my listings have been sent over and as far as I know...everything is going fine...Like I said before~this is a very talented group and I'm so thrilled to be a part of it...www.whendisbears.com/TEA/artists.html

Heat ...It's Here!!

It's unbelievable how hot it's getting here and it all just seemed to happen in the blink of an eye! Last week was a comfortable week...not too hot...and not too cold. Now the air is so hot and humid out there it's like a sauna. This weekend will be in the 100's. I know where I'll be ~ AC!!
Today I finished 2 sets of pumpkin dolls. Both turned out very different and very primitive. I'll try hard to get them listed on my website soon...I also sent in my dolls for "The Eclectic Artisan
Webshow" coming up on June 9....I'll post an address soon...They are such a great group...you'll have to check it out!!!
The kids are out of school finally so summer vacation has begun. I'm looking forward to the long days without a schedule...it will be nice!!

Ebay Listing!

Just a quick little note to let you know that I just listed my first pumpkinhead on Ebay... She is simple and sweet and one of the many shapes and sizes pulled from the pumpkin patch this year!! Please hop over and take a quick look at her...

Happy June!!

I have been pretty busy lately trying to get some things together before my operation. I hate to keep bringing this up but the last surgery I had was when I was 9 years old and they removed my tonsils...hospitals and surgery have been like distant relatives to me...I know they are there and I don't want to talk about them... However, I try to keep my thoughts in a happy place while secretly counting down the days...See?...Hopeless! LOL I'll try not to keep mentioning the "S" word...

Anyway, I know we are about to step into summer here but my mind is drifting towards Halloween...I have a few pumpkin dolls in different stages now and will be listing one tomorrow night on Ebay if everything goes as planned. Please be watchin...okay?

I opened an Etsy shop last month and still need to get around to putting something in it! It's on my "To Do " list. Plans are to add stuff over the summer for Fall...I will be getting busier soon...once the" you know what" happens and I can concentrate once again...
